Family Life Resource Ministry
Bro. Eldo & Rev. Ingrid Gales
The Family Life Resource Ministry of St. James AME Church, Marriage Enrichment and Family Enrichment, provides spiritual guidance, empowerment, educational opportunities and support to families of our congregation and community. The ministry directors, Bro. Eldo and Rev. Ingrid Gales along with five clergy serve as spiritual advisors to couples participating in the ministry, and as facilitators of ministry sessions.
Marriage Enrichment
This component provides husbands and wives with resources that are based upon biblical principles intended to deepen their relationship with God and one another. This focus continues to celebrate the covenant of marriage by emphasizing the importance of communication and prayer between husband and wife.

Family Enrichment
The focus here is on empowering families of the congregation to reclaim their families first. Understanding the changing roles in the family structure is a focal point for this aspect of the ministry. It is our goal to assist and prepare individuals and families to reach their God given purpose in life.
